The city of Choco'quiero is a sister city of Machu Picchu - but only accessible by a 32 km hike one-way along a mule trail that goes from the top to the bottom of the Apurimac River Valley.

Literally uphill both ways.

I didn't know it yet, but you can see where the city is on the ridge furthest to the left of the frame.
